SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangsu Sopo on 20 March shut its 1m tonne/year acetic acid production site in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province, because of technical issues, market sources said on Friday.
The company has yet to fix a restart date for the site, they added.
Jiangsu Sopo operates two acetic acid plants with combined capacities of 1m tonnes/year as well as a 500,000 tonne/year methanol plant at the same site in Zhenjiang.
