South Korea’s SK Energy Ulsan refinery CDU to restart in April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Energy will restart a crude distillation unit (CDU) at its 840,000 bbl/day Ulsan refinery in mid April following the completion of scheduled maintenance, a source close to the company said on Thursday.

SK Energy shutdown the 110,000 bbl/day CDU No 2 unit on 18 March and is set to restart the unit on 16 April, the source added.

SK Energy also plans to shut down the 170,000 bbl/day CDU No 3 unit at Ulsan from 20 May to 17 June for scheduled maintenance, the source added.
