SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Fujian Refining & Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec, plans to shut its 180,000 tonne/year PP unit in Fujian province on 1 April for maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The shutdown will last for about three days. The company’s other units, including a 120,000 tonne/year PP unit and a 220,000 tonne/year PP unit at the same site, will continue to operate during this period, the source added.
Local distributors said the shutdown will have limited impact on the market due to the short duration.
