SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Daqing Petrochemical restarted its 250,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE)/linear low density PE (LLDPE) swing plant at Daqing city in Heilongjiang province on 28 March, a company source said on Friday.
This plant was shut on 30 November 2012 following a fire incident together with its 300,000 tonne/year HDPE/LLDPE swing plant and upstream 600,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker.
The company shut its 200,000tonne/year LDPE plant at the same time in order to divert raw materials to the swing plant.
