SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Henan Haolida Chemical plans to shut its 130,000 tonne/year urea unit in Henan province of central China at the end of April or early May for maintenance, a company source said on Monday.
“The company will shut the plant for 20 days,” the source added.
The shutdown of the urea plant is unlikely to have any significant impact on the urea prices in Henan province as downstream demand remains weak, an industry source said.
