HOUSTON (ICIS)--Air Liquide plans to build a liquid-oxygen storage and vaporisation facility at its Freeport air separation unit in Texas, the France-based industrial gases producer said on Monday.
The project should go on line in 2014, and it will supply oxygen to the company's Gulf Coast pipeline network.
Overall, the expansion should increase storage and vaporisation capacity of the network by nearly 25%, Air Liquide said.
The company recently brought another project on line, which increased the supply of hydrogen purification and compression capacity of its hydrogen pipeline system, Air Liquide said.
This project was also in Freeport, and it went on line in March.
