SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Hengyi Petrochemical announced on Tuesday that it has received approval from Brunei’s Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation Ministry of Development for its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for a proposed $4bn (€3.1bn) refinery.
The 8m tonne/year refinery will be built at Pulau Muara Besar and will be operated by Hengyi Petrochemical’s wholly-owned subsidiary Hengyi Industries (Brunei).
