SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China-based Shanxi Yushe Chemical plans to restart its 300,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Jinzhong in Shanxi province on 9 April after completing its two-day maintenance, a company source said late on Monday.
The company is expected to continue running the plant at 100% capacity, unchanged from the levels prior to the shutdown, the source added.
The offers of PVC by the producer are at yuan (CNY) 6,210/tonne ($1,000/tonne) EXW (ex-works) on 9 April, according to Chemease, an ICIS Service in China.
The company’s other PVC plant at the same site, with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year, has remained shut since 2011.
