Singapore (ICIS)--South Korea’s GS Caltex will restart its 1,300,000 tonne/year Group II base oil plant in Yeosu on 18 April after shutting it for planned maintenance for 35 days, a company source said.
The plant will undergo its first catalyst change and base oil production would be at normal run rates after the restart, with full production capacity expected in May, the source added.
The Group II base oil plant was shut on 15 March for maintenance.
