TOKYO (ICIS)--Japan’s Toyo Engineering has signed an engineering partnership agreement with German chemicals major BASF in the Asia Pacific, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The agreement will potentially allow BASF to reduce its “investment costs and schedule lead time by participating in projects from the planning stages”, it said.
Toyo Engineering and its affiliates, including Toyo-China, Toyo-India and Toyo-Malaysia, may also BASF with customised services, the firm said.
The agreement will also cover basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management and other project related services in the chemical and petrochemical sectors in the region, Toyo Engineering added.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
