SEOUL (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) is running its aromatics facilities in Yeosu at a reduced rate of around 85% this month, a company source said late on Thursday.
YNCC has three aromatics facilities at the site with a combined nameplate benzene capacity of 380,000 tonnes/year; toleuene capacity of 200,000 tonnes; and solvent xylene capacity of 130,000 tonnes/year. (Please see table below)
Lowering the run rates at the aromatics units was in line with reduced production at YNCC’s crackers, the source said.
