SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has bought 50,000 tonnes of spot naphtha supply for delivery to Yeosu in the second half of May, traders said on Thursday.
The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $10/tonne (€8/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they said.
YNCC previously bought a similar volume for delivery to Yeosu in the second half of May, at a premium of $18/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
The premium has weakened because of falling crude futures and a decline in plastics demand, traders said.
