HOUSTON (ICIS)--Bayer MaterialScience has completed the maintenance turnaround it had been conducting on its methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) and toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) production units at its site in Baytown, Texas, according to information made available on Monday.
All units are operational, Bayer said.
During the turnaround, the plant conducted inspections and performed maintenance and project work, Bayer said.
Isocyanates consumers said that Bayer had built up inventories in preparation for the turnaround and that product was adequately available during the maintenance.
Bayer started the turnaround for its TDI and MDI production trains at its Baytown facility in late January.
