S Korea's OCI Chemical to restart Gunsan TDI unit by end Apr

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) producer OCI Chemical is planning to restart 50,000 tonne/year Gunsan unit in late April after the completion of maintenance works, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

The unit was taken offline on 1 April, the source added.

TDI is a raw material for making polyurethane (PU) foams used in various applications, including the manufacture of furniture and automobiles.
