PetroChina lowers May Daqing, Jidong crude prices by CNY207/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina will settle its May-delivery Daqing and Jidong crude at yuan (CNY)5,445/tonne, or $120.72/bbl, a decrease of CNY207/tonne from April, a company source said over the weekend.

PetroChina primarily benchmarks Dubai crude in setting monthly crude prices.

Daqing and Jidong crude account for 38% of PetroChina’s total crude output.

PetroChina’s May settlement prices for Huabei, Dagang and Changqing crude, on the other hand, are CNY197-207/tonne lower from the previous month, the source said.
