LONDON (ICIS)--Portugal’s Galp Energia has started scheduled maintenance work at its Matosinhos base oil unit, a company source said on Tuesday.
The 185,000 tonne/year unit was brought down on 29 April and is scheduled to be restarted on 15 June.
Stocks have been built up ahead of the maintenance and existing commitments will be covered as normal, the source said.
However, Galp Energia will not be active in the export spot market during this period.
