SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Nan Ya Plastics is now also producing pastille-type solid maleic anhydride (MA) at its new facility in Mailiao, a company source said on Friday.
In end-February, the 60,000 tonne/year MA plant started commercial production of molten MA, the source said.
The facility is currently estimated to be running at 30-40% of capacity, a source close to the company said.
Nan Ya Plastics has started offering solid MA material but is not in a hurry to sell as production is currently limited, the source said.
