LONDON (ICIS)--India's Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has issued its fourth ammonia tender of 2013 as the company looks to secure a small cargo for mid-June arrival, market sources said on Wednesday.
The group is seeking an 8,000-tonne parcel for delivery to the west coast port of Kochi (formerly Cochin) between 10 and 14 June.
Offers are requested to remain valid until 27 May, with the tender scheduled to close at 14:30 local time on 20 May.
In late April, FACT’s third ammonia tender of the year was awarded to Muntajat after the marketer of Qatar Fertiliser Co (QAFCO) products offered 7,000 tonnes at $595/tonne (€458/tonne) CFR (cost and freight).?xml:namespace>
That cargo is understood to have been discharged in Kochi this week after being loaded on either the LPG tanker the Almarona or the Almajedah in early May.($1 = €0.77)
