LONDON (ICIS)--The EU imported 16% more epoxy resins from the rest of the world in January 2013 than in January 2012, data from European statistics agency Eurostat showed on Friday.

Exports to the rest of the world increased by 3%  in January 2013 year on year.

In February, epoxy resins imports were up by 9% year on year, while exports dropped by 9%.

Imports dropped by 13% in February 2013 compared with January 2013, and exports were down by 4%.

Exports in February dropped because availability was scarcer in Europe which meant sellers had less material to export and imports were down because demand was weaker.
