HOUSTON (ICIS)--Here is Friday’s end of day Americas oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: Jun WTI: $96.02/bbl, up 86 cents; Jul Brent: $104.64/bbl, up 86 cents
NYMEX WTI crude futures finished up for the third consecutive day, tracking a rally in the refined products as well as gains in the stock market in response to released upbeat economic data. A strong dollar, making commodities more expensive, helped cap the rally.

RBOB: June $2.9069/gal, up 2.47 cents/gal
Reformulated blendstock for oxygen blending (RBOB) gasoline futures prices settled higher as it tracked crude futures. Delayed gasoline shipments in the Midwest market also pushed RBOB higher as regional spot gasoline prices gained nearly 0.50 cents/gal during the week.

NATURAL GAS: Jun: $ 4.055/MMBtu, up 12.3 cents
Natural gas futures on the NYMEX rose sharply on Friday on positive economic data, as well as sustained nuclear plant outages due to seasonal maintenance. The midday release of US drilling rig data from oilfield service companies showed a slight gain in gas-directed units than the previous week, reflecting stability in recent curtailments of production.

ETHANE:  higher at 28.00 cents/gal
Ethane spot prices rebounded, tracking strength in the energy complex and the possible restart of a few crackers.

AROMATICS: mixed xylene tighter at $4.10-4.18/gal, toluene down at $4.02-4.09/gal
Prompt mixed xylene (MX) spot prices were discussed at $4.10-4.18/gal FOB on Friday, sources said. The range was tighter compared with $4.10-4.20/gal FOB the previous session as offers were down slightly. Meanwhile, prompt n-grade toluene spot prices were discussed at $4.02-4.09/gal FOB during the day, down from $4.05-4.10/gal FOB the previous session.

OLEFINS: ethylene bid higher at 58.0-58.5 cents/lb, PGP bid wider at 58-59 cents/lb
US May ethylene bid levels moved higher to 58.0-58.5 cents/lb on Friday, compared with  57.0-57.5 cents/lb seen the previous day. US May polymer-grade propylene (PGP) bid levels widened to 58-59 cents/lb from 58 cents/lb the previous day.
