SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Dongda Chemical may restart its propylene oxide (PO) and polyether polyols units on 23 May, after a planned turnaround, said sources close to the company on Wednesday.
Both units were taken offline on 18 May for routine maintenance, the sources said.
The company’s 80,000 tonne/year PO and 220,000 tonne/year polyether polyols facilities are in Shandong province. Output from the PO unit is mainly used as feedstock for the polyether polyol plant.
