SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Philippines polystyrene (PS) producer DFE Chemical Corp has pushed back the turnaround of its facility in Manila, a source close to the company said on Thursday.
The 30,000 tonne/year facility was initially scheduled for maintenance shutdown in June.
“The plant will now commence maintenance in the first week of July and will be shut for around one month,” the source added.
The other PS producers in southeast Asia are Denka and Total petrochemicals in Singapore; Petrochemicals Malaysia; IRPC and Siam Cement in Thailand.
