23 May 2013 08:37 [Source: ICIS news]SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Russia’s Rosneft is planning to reduce its Group I base oils exports to China to 2,500 tonnes in June, a Chinese importer said on Thursday.
The drop is because of a month-long turnaround at the producer’s 250,000 tonne/year Group I base oils plant at Angarsk in Russia, the importer said.
The June export volumes will consist of only Group I N150, the importer said.
The smaller volume and single grade offered may limit buying interest for the cargoes, according to the importer.
However, offers are unlikely to drop as the availability of exports in June will be low, added the importer.
