LONDON (ICIS)--European T2 fuel ethanol prices decreased by €25-30/cbm late on Wednesday amid quiet market conditions, according to sources.

European T2 fuel ethanol values were assessed at €640-650/cbm ($821-833/cbm) FOB (free on board) Rotterdam.

Sources said the market was quiet as a number of participants were absent due to public holidays across parts of Europe and because others were attending the FO Licht and Focus-Abengoa Biofuels conference in Seville, Spain.

Last week, prices rose to €670-675/cbm FOB Rotterdam, their highest levels since October 2012, on the back of higher demand and tighter supply.
