Hungary's BorsodChem plans PVC plant turnaround in August

LONDON (ICIS)--BorsodChem will undertake a two-and-a-half week maintenance turnaround at its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant from the start of August, a source at the Hungary-based producer said on Thursday.

The company’s PVC plant at Kazincbarcika in northern Hungary has a capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year, the source added.

The company is building up inventories ahead of the maintenance work.

BorsodChem is part of China's Wanhua Industrial Group.
