SINGAPORE (ICIS) –China’s Sinopec Wuhan Petrochemical has delayed the start-up schedule of its new naphtha cracker at Wuhan in Hubei province to July because of an equipment glitch, a company source said on Monday.
The cracker can produce 800,000 tonnes/year of ethylene.
The company originally planned to start up the cracker and downstream units in late May.
