LONDON (ICIS)--Polish producer ZAK is planning a turnaround at its oxo-alcohols unit from 23 June until 10 July, a company source said on Wednesday.

The unit, at Kedzierzyn-Kozle, has a combined capacity of 205,000 tonnes/year, the source added.

ZAK produces n-butanol (NBA), isobutanol (IBA) and 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH).

The producer’s 60,000 tonne/year dioctyl phthalate (DOP) plasticizers unit will also undergo work at some time within the same period, but there are no fixed dates for this, the source said.
