SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The fire at a tar tank at PetroChina Dalian Petrochemical on 2 June has not affected its operations, a company source said on Monday.
“The tank has been idle for 3-4 years,” said the source.
Earlier, PetroChina said in a statement that the tank was undergoing maintenance.
Two people are still missing and two others were injured in the accident.
Dalian Petrochemical primarily operates a 410,000 bbl/day refinery at Dalian in Liaoning province.
