SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its May butadiene (BD) contract at $1,480/tonne (€1,140/tonne), up by $29/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Monday.
The producer’s contract settlement for April was $1,451/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).
YNCC derives its monthly contract price settlement from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.
In the week ended 31 May, BD spot prices were at $1,410-1,440/tonne CFR (cost & freight) NE (northeast) Asia, according to ICIS data.
