LONDON (ICIS)--Vencorex’s TDI plant at Le-Pont-de-Claix, in France is back online, following the completion of a major planned turnaround, a company source said late on Tuesday.
“The plant restarted over the weekend and naturally in a controlled fashion,” said the company source.
The unit went down around 21 April and it was scheduled to be offline for around four-to-five weeks as part of a major three-yearly maintenance programme.
The French TDI unit is a joint venture between Thailand-based petrochemical and refining company PTT Global and Swedish-based producer Perstorp.
The plant has the nameplate capacity to produce around 125,000 tonnes/year.
