Czech chemical output fell 1.4% in April, statistics agency says

LONDON (ICIS)--Czech chemical output fell by 1.4% year on year in April, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Friday.

Overall industrial production rose 0.5%, which was the first year on year increase in that figure for six months, it added.

The manufacture of rubber and plastic products increased by 2%, the CZSO said.

Overall manufacturing was up 2.9%, textile production increased 5.8%, the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers rose 1.1% and the manufacture of furniture climbed 7.2%, it also said.
