HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Phillips 66 is selling its business in Ireland, including the country’s only refinery, the company said Tuesday.
Phillips 66 said it has retained Deutsche Bank to market the business, including the 71,000 bbl/day Whitegate refinery, an associated wholesale marketing business and a crude and oil refined-products storage terminal in Bantry Bay.
“Phillips 66 intends to continue operating the assets as usual during the marketing process, which is expected to last for several months,” said Phillips 66 spokesperson Rich Johnson.
The company did not provide a reason for the sale.
