DUBAI (ICIS)--Industrial units at Equate Petrochemicals Co in Kuwait have been brought back to full working order, ending nearly two hours of forced outage due to a power cut, the company said on Wednesday.
Equate said the power outage on Tuesday forced off some industrial units of the company.
“The blackout was a result of periodical maintenance conducted by local ministry of electricity and water staff on one of the company’s power generators,” Equate said in a statement.
Further details have not been disclosed.
“Furthermore, no causalities were reported and the company extended its gratitude for the quick ministry response to restoring power,” it added.
