LONDON (ICIS)--Exports of ethylene dichloride (EDC) from the EU increased by 13% year on year in March 2013, but imports also moved up significantly over the same period, according to data published by statistics agency Eurostat this week.
Export volumes stood at 27,256 tonnes in March 2013, up from 24,159 tonnes in the same month a year ago.
Import volumes rose significantly year-on-year to 3,003 tonnes in March 2013 from a negligible amount.
