SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Xinjiang Land Fine Petrochemical restarted its 50,000 tonne/year polybutadiene rubber (BR) plant in northwestern China on 24 June, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant’s restart was delayed from 20 June because of weakness in the BR market, the source said.

The unit was taken off line on 21 May for a month-long scheduled turnaround, the source said.

Xinjiang Land Fine Petrochemical, based at Karamay, produces and sells lubricants, fine chemicals, and chemical and plastic materials.
