SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Neste Jacobs was awarded a long-term engineering, project management and consultancy services contract by Abu Dhabi-based Borouge, the Finnish firm said on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, Neste Jacobs will deliver Borouge specialised services such as studies, design, engineering, project management and support services connected with implementation of projects, the firm said in a statement.
It will also provide services related to development of process, automation and plant performance, according to the statement.
“This long-term contract supports Neste Jacobs' vision to become a preferred solution provider for hydrocarbon industries and will provide us with an opportunity for sustainable growth during the coming years,” said Jarmo Suominen, managing director of Neste Jacobs.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
Borouge is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) and Austria-based petrochemical producer Borealis.
