SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan's JX Nippon Oil & Energy concluded late on Friday its July benzene Asian contract price (ACP) at $1,215/tonne (€935/tonne), $90/tonne lower from its June settlement, a company source said on Monday.
The company nominated $1,330/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia for its July benzene ACP early in the week of 24 June.
This is the second consecutive month that JX Nippon had reduced its ACP.
Spot benzene prices fell by more than $70/tonne on average in June, according to ICIS data, with a steep decline of $100/tonne within 10 days from 18 June.
