HOUSTON (ICIS)--LSB Industries said on Monday that its El Dorado Nitrogen subsidiary has signed a seven-year extension to supply Bayer MaterialScience with nitric acid.

Effective 1 July 2014, the agreement adds modified terms to the previous deal that El Dorado will supply all of Bayer’s nitric acid requirements at its polyurethane intermediates complex in Baytown, Texas, LSB CEO Jack Golsen confirmed.

“EDNLP has enjoyed a mutually beneficial working relationship with Bayer since 1998, and we look forward to continuing this relationship under the new extended agreement,” Golsen said.
