HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Sunoco Logistics Partners will launch a binding open season on Wednesday for a 70,000 bbl/day pipeline that would transport crude oil from the Granite Wash Shale in Texas.
Expected to be operational in Q4 2014, the approximately 200-mile (322-km) Granite Wash Extension pipeline would start in Wheeler County and end in Ringgold, Sunoco said on Tuesday.
The pipeline would interconnect with an existing Sunoco pipeline to Corsicana, where there is access to multiple Sunoco and third-party pipelines to serve producers and refineries in the Gulf Coast and the Midwest.
Sunoco will also construct pump stations, tankage and truck unloading facilities for the project.
