LONDON (ICIS)--Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) exports from the 27-member EU slipped slightly in May, following an increase in export activity in April, when compared with a year ago, according to data released by Eurostat on Thursday.
In May 2013, PVC exports totalled 5,702 tonnes, down by 2.1% from 5,825 tonnes in May 2012.
In April 2013, PVC exports stood at 5,624 tonnes, up by 4.9% from 5,362 tonnes year-on year.
The figures represent PVC in its primary form, not mixed with any other substances.
