LONDON (ICIS)--Russian fertilizer producer PhosAgro announced on Friday that it has signed an agreement with INCRO to conduct design engineering work on a new production line at Balakovo Mineral Fertilizers in the ?xml:namespace>
The $190m (€144m) project, which is due to be implemented in 2013-2016, will have a production capacity of 450,000 tonnes/year of nitrogen phosphorus potassium (NPK), nitrogen phosphate and sulphur (NPS) and nitrogen phosphate (NP).
“This project will help PhosAgro to achieve its strategic goal of increasing internal processing of phosphate rock, while also significantly increasing our product assortment to meet domestic and international demand,” management company PhosAgro AG CEO Mikhail Rybnikov said.
