Asia PX producers nominate August ACP at $1,520-1,540/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Three major paraxylene (PX) producers in Asia have nominated their August Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,520-1,540/tonne (€1,155-1,170/tonne), industry sources said on Thursday.

On 24 July, JX Nippon Oil & Energy and ExxonMobil nominated their August PX ACP at $1,540/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia and $1,520/tonne CFR Asia respectively, the sources said.

On 25 July, South Korea’s S-Oil nominated its August PX ACP at $1,520/tonne CFR Asia, they added.

The July PX ACP was settled at $1,410/tonne CFR Asia.
