HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based Dow Chemical is on track to close on the sale of three businesses by the end of the year, the company's chief financial officer said on Thursday.

Those business include plastics additives, a small fumigant unit, as well as polypropylene (PP) licensing and catalysts, said Bill Weideman, chief financial officer. He made his comments during an earnings conference call.

Weideman did not reveal potential buyers or sales prices for the businesses.

In January, Dow already divested the stabilisers component of its plastics additives business, and it entered into a definitive agreement to sell its 50% ownership in Nippon Unicar.
