LONDON (ICIS)--Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has issued a fresh tender for 7,000 tonnes of ammonia as it looks to secure a cargo for arrival on the west coast of India in the second half of August, market sources said on Wednesday.

Under the terms of the tender, the 7,000-tonne ammonia parcel (+/- 5%) must be delivered to the west coast port of Kochi - formerly Cochin - between 20 and 25 August.

The tender, which is the firm's sixth this year, is scheduled to close at 14:30 local time on 6 August. Offers are requested to remain valid until 12 August.

FACT scrapped its last tender for July delivery after the three offers it received were considered too high amid falling ammonia prices.
