LONDON (ICIS)--Dow Chemical’s cracker in Boehlen, Germany is in its restart phase following a power outage late on 27 July, a company source said on Wednesday.
The cracker, which has a nameplate capacity of 510,000 tonnes/year of ethylene according to ICIS data, was expected to be fully back on-stream by the end of the week.
The company source said that the power outage had interrupted the flow of naphtha feedstock to the cracker which was subsequently safely shut down.Follow Nel on Twitter
