HOUSTON (ICIS)--US mixed xylene (MX) production in the second quarter of 2013 was at 250m lb, down by 15% from 296m lb in the second quarter of 2012, according to data released by the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) on Wednesday.
Year-to-date MX production in 2013 also decreased to 518m, down by 16% from 617m lb from 2012 year-to-date production.
AFPM did not report any MX inventories.Companies offering MX information for the AFPM survey included Phillips 66, BP, Citgo, ExxonMobil, Flint Hills, Marathon, Shell and Total.?xml:namespace>
