SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Lotte Chemical Titan Holding is in the process of restarting a 285,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, said a source close to the company on Wednesday.
The source did not state an estimated restart date.
Flaring was seen at Lotte Chemical Titan Holding's production site in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, on 5 August, according to one source close to the company. The source declined to comment on which plant was affected.
Its 435,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker at the same site was shut down and restarted half a day later, the source said.
The company was acquired by South Korean conglomerate Lotte Group’s subsidiary Honam Petrochemicals in July 2010.
