LONDON (ICIS)--Ethylene imports into the EU from the rest of the world in June rose by 12% year on year, according to data from the European statistics agency Eurostat on Monday.
In June 2013, ethylene exports stood at 27,826 tonnes, an increase from 24,883 tonnes reported in the corresponding month a year before.
This follows some fluctuation in imports over the last few months. In April 2013, year-on-year import figures had fallen by 53% but rose steeply in May.
Eurostat import/export data is subject to revision as more detailed information becomes available.
