EU caprolactam imports fall by 99% in June, Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)—EU caprolactam (capro) imports fell by a dramatic 99.9% in June year on year, according to data from statistics agency Eurostat on Monday.

European capro demand has been low throughout 2013 becuase of weak macroeconomic conditions, and consumption has been satisfied domestically.

Capro exports from the EU, meanwhile rose by 13% in June year on year
