EVENING SNAPSHOT Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Monday’s end of day European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.
CRUDE: October WTI: $106.07/bbl, down $0.35/bbl October BRENT: $110.89, down $0.15/bbl
BENZENE: $1,295-1,315/tonne, steady
Deals for September and October were done at $1,305/tonne, within the current range. October also later traded at $1,315/tonne.
STYRENE: $1,810-1,850/tonne, down $30/tonne on the buy side
There was a prompt August deal at $1,870/tonne, pending further confirmation from the seller. The market was otherwise quiet and the range for September was lower on the bid side. The second half of the month was backwardated at $1,765-1,790/tonne, while October narrowed to close at $1,740-1,755/tonne.
TOLUENE: $1,120-1,130/tonne, steady
The spot market was quiet and the range unchanged with prices supported by gains in the US. Derivative toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) players are expecting a seasonal uplift next month following a weak first half of 2013. One supplier confirmed that it is seeing strong order levels for TDI into next month.
